TAROVERA Methodology

A card has its own underlying nature. Its interpretation becomes more specific when that nature is considered alongside the question, the position in the spread, the surrounding cards, and the stage of the situation.

Context does not mean that any card can mean anything. It helps identify which part of the card's meaning is relevant and what that meaning can reasonably tell us about the question.

This is why TAROVERA separates thoughts, feelings, intentions, and actions. What someone thinks is not necessarily what they feel. An intention does not establish that an action will follow.

Events and outcomes also answer different questions: one concerns what happens; the other concerns where the situation arrives. The library's topic sections preserve these distinctions rather than presenting the same description under different headings.

Elemental relationships are part of TAROVERA's interpretive approach. The nature of a card is considered in relation to the area being examined: where its qualities support the situation, where they create difficulty, and where their usefulness is limited.

A card associated with initiative or communication may be strong in a conversation or a new undertaking without, by itself, establishing emotional closeness or material success.

The aim is to explain the practical meaning of those differences. A broadly favourable card is not automatically favourable for every question, and potential is not the same as realization.

An upright card describes its underlying principle, including its strengths and natural limitations. It does not mean that every aspect of the situation is positive.

The shadow side explores difficulties that can arise within that principle, such as excess, imbalance, or behaviour that becomes self-defeating. This is distinct from the interpretation of a card drawn reversed.

In TAROVERA, a reversed card retains its underlying nature, but expresses it in an impaired form. The quality may be weakened, blocked, excessive, distorted, immature, or used ineffectively.

A reversal is not an automatic opposite, nor does turning a difficult card upside down automatically resolve its difficulty. The task is to understand how the same principle has become harder to express or work with in the position being read.

A reference meaning is a starting point, not a complete answer to every situation in which a card appears. Combinations bring the relationships between cards into focus. A full spread adds the question, the positions, the sequence, and the way the situation develops across the reading.

A card at the beginning of a process does not perform the same role as a card describing its outcome. Cards may reinforce or complicate one another, and a promising intermediate step does not by itself establish a successful conclusion.

Interactive Tarot Spreads

The interactive spreads provide defined positions for a particular topic. Reading the position alongside the card helps keep the interpretation connected to the question that part of the spread addresses.

These are tools for independent exploration. Using an online spread is separate from having Viktoriia examine your situation and prepare an individual reading.

Personal Written Readings

A personal reading begins with the client's situation and the context they share. The question is considered first: what needs to be understood, which aspects should be separated, and where clarification is needed.

The positions are then built around that question, and the cards are read as a connected system. The purpose is not to fit every request into the same layout, but to examine the actual situation being presented.

A birth-date portrait begins with calculations rather than cards drawn for a particular question. Defined calculations assign Major Arcana to positions with different roles within the portrait.

The tools explore areas such as life stages, abilities, mission, self-perception, and recurring patterns. An archetype is read through the role of its position, not simply as a general description of the card.

The calculation identifies the position and archetype. The accompanying interpretation explains the qualities and possible expressions associated with that pairing.

It does not establish how fully those qualities are expressed in your life now. A quality may be developed, remain underused, become excessive, or operate in a distorted form. These possibilities should not be read as a claim that every description applies to you at once.

The Calculation Framework

Some TAROVERA birth-date calculations draw on the Psychological Portrait system developed by Alla Alicja Chrzanowska. TAROVERA also incorporates additional positions, more specific role definitions, and its own expanded interpretations and explanations.

The source framework and TAROVERA's adaptations are distinct. This attribution concerns the calculation methods, not the whole of TAROVERA's approach to reading Tarot.

The Personal Tarot Portrait Diagnostic is designed as a separate, manual examination of how a calculated portrait is expressed in a person's life at the time of the reading.

It uses Tarot diagnostic methods to explore selected indicators beyond their general calculated descriptions: what is already expressed constructively, what is only partly developed, and where qualities may be blocked, excessive, or distorted.

The focus is on what supports or obstructs that expression and what practical steps may help address the difficulties identified within the reading. It is not simply another delivery of the calculator's text.

A question-led personal reading starts with a particular situation. A portrait diagnostic starts with the calculated structure and examines its current expression. The two forms of personal work have different starting points and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Here, “diagnostic” refers to an interpretive Tarot approach, not a medical diagnosis or a clinical psychological assessment.

TAROVERA brings together established Tarot knowledge, Viktoriia's practice-based observations, and specific source methods where they apply.

The material is developed to preserve distinctions between cards, positions, and areas of life. Where a particular calculation framework is used, its source is identified separately from TAROVERA's own additions and interpretation.

Returning to earlier readings and considering how situations developed is part of the practice behind this work. It provides a reason to revisit an interpretation rather than assume that a familiar keyword always answers the question.

TAROVERA's materials and services offer interpretations within a Tarot system, not guarantees of a particular outcome. A calculated portrait is not an objective assessment of personality or proof of past lives, destiny, or future events.
